Folks.

I'm on fire right now on overnight lines in Hockey...and no one is hotter then me then my team - the Red Hot Vancouver Canucks. This team is just on a mission here, they came back from a 3-0 deficit half way through in the 3rd period in MoTown and beat the Stanley Cup Champs Detroit Red Wings.

The Canucks haven't lost since their last game vs the Red Wings nearly a month ago. Canucks are undefeated in their last 10 games going 6-0-4...And they are 5-0-2 after the All Star Break.

The Blues however struggling only 1 win in their last 3 games, and barely beat the Flames after being down 2-0 and 3-1 early (I remmeber that game since I had the freakin Flames). Well Doug Weight and Martin Rucinsky and a few role players injured...Vancouver Canucks ML +115 is very tempting!

Canucks are a few points ahead of Blues in the Western Conference Standings - and I expect another big game from the Canucks top line against a mediocre goaltender in Brethwaite.

Other than Avalanche, no team has covered the spread after upseting Wings in quite some time.

ivan: calm down. im curious why you would start a "game of month" w/two months left and a "game of week" with 8 weeks left? and what is goal? are they 2 units plays? 3 units? are you looking for value or stength of play? im all for gimmicks - hell, i invented them - but you need to let us know what separates a "game of week" from a game tonite?

Vancouver, which took the lone meeting of the season between these teams, is just 4-16-2 in its last 22 against the Blues and is a miserable 1-9-1 in its last 11 trips to St. Louis.
